Ever since I read your " A Dead letter " in referance to Jaun Elia, I wanted to tell you how
much I appreciated it. This was my kind of article - I have a long history of crying over his verses, over a life lost, over
his " kaat-ta hon zindegi bhar mein ne jo boya nahin "
May Allah rest his soul, there can never be another Joun Elia, ever.
Looking for your email address ki wajha ek baat aur bhi thhi - and that too was prompted
by this article. Let me come to the point right away. I want Jaun's both of the books and his prose too. Its not in my knowledge
that if he ever published any collection of his articles. But I have read a couple of his columns and was so inspired
and enamoured with the flow of his knowledge. I want to read, whatever is available.
If you think you could spare some time for this then please let me know. I will send you
my postal address and other arrangements for the cost and all that. I hope you don't suggest any bookstore to me to contact.
I have already gone through that.
